English The book “Eleven” was written by Sandra Cineros. It is about a girl who’s birthday is ruined by a ugly red sweater. She is also credible.
The first reason is that she is shocked. “That’s not, I don’t, your not… not mine,” She said. She said this because her teacher Mrs. Price found a hideous red sweater that was in their class for three months. A girl said it was Rachel’s, but it wasn’t hers. So Mrs. Price gave the sweater to Rachel.
The second reason is that she starts to cry. “That’s when everything I’ve been holding in since this morning, since when Mrs. Price put the sweater on my desk finally lets go, and all of a sudden I’m crying front of everybody.” She started crying because that’s when the ugly sweater that’s not hers ruins her birthday.
The last reason is that she calls a girl dumb and stupid. “That stupid Phyllis Lopez, who is even dumber that Felice Garcia, says she remembers that red sweater is hers!” She calls the girl dumb and stupid because the girl remembers the sweater is hers and Rachel gets angry because she cried about a sweater that’s not hers.

Period 4/5 Why I Should Have a Dog Dear Mom,
I am going to tell you some reasons why we should a dog. We should get a dog because then I can have a play mate went I’m alone. We can also get a dog to guard our home. I will also walk the dog everyday. I will also bath and feed the dog. I will also be responsible for anything the dog does. This is why we should get a dog.
I am now going to explain why I should get a dog. If the dog goes to the bathroom in the house I will clean it up. If it breaks anything I will repair it or buy a new one. If he bites I’ll send him in the room for about 10 minutes. I will also make sure he gets his shots and medical care. These are reasons and explanations why I should have a dog.
I will now solve some concerns about having a dog. I know we don’t have money to pay for the food and shots for the dog so, I will try to get a part-time job. I will also try to pay someone to train him. If he begins to smell I will give him a bath. If he barks a lot I will put a muzzle on it so, It can be quiet.
Thanks mom for letting me keep the dog. That means I have to tell you something. I wanted to tell you that he is in the bedroom and he has been in there for about two days.

Why I Should Have a Dog
Dear Mom,
